The basics of Call Wave Fax2Email is the same as it's competitors. You send and receive faxes from a selected email address you choose when you sign up. There is a piece of fax management software, but it's not required to send or receive faxes via your email with Call Wave Fax2Email service.

The number of pages that can be sent and received is on par with the other services I've compared. You can send 150 pages per month and receive 100 with their basic plan. This is Doubled if you choose the PLUS package from Call Wave to 300 sent and 200 received.

There is a one time setup fee charged when you sign up for the Basic or Plus fax plans. The cost is only $10.00, how ever it's not a standard thing to charge a setup fee so they could probably stand to get rid of this.

Not every area is covered by Call Wave Internet fax service, so you'll have to check on their site to see if your area code is offered.

Using CallWave Fax

Like other fax to email providers using the service from Call Wave fax is simple. It's a matter of attaching a file to your email and sending it off. The fax is then completed and sent a few minutes later.

Receiving faxes is just as easy. When someone sends a fax to your given fax number it's converted and then forwarded on to the email address you've chosen to use to receive faxes with.

Similar to some of the other companies Call Wave provides more then just Internet Fax service, therefore their customer service department is reasonably responsive to questions. One down fall how ever is that their support is only available Monday to Friday.

Verdict for Call Wave Fax?

The setup fee isn't really standard for the Internet fax industry, so that could be done away with. How ever their plans are priced right, and the number of pages that are sent and received as well as the overage charge are pretty much standard.

If Call Wave offers service for you're area then it's a good choice.
